Some of the lyrics here are 'thank you thank you oh you make me thank you for your love' so it's almost like somebody is doing him a favour by appreciating him, or he's just happy there's at least one positive thing to think about.when there's so many other things around the world that are negative. Towards the end of the video, most of the dancers end up outside of the screen and it seems like there are two different sets happening at the same time - the more modern scene in the art gallery with dance routines, and the more old fashioned style of dancing and singing which is happening on the screen. One of the girls from the screen in a purple dress ends up jumping out of the screen and begins dancing with Jon, whilst he's singing a romantic song for somebody else (which might be a little awkward) but also makes the music video a little more theatrical and dramatic, as you don't know where to look the entire time! It doesn't necessarily mean having a partner or a family, sometimes it's about being able to love and appreciate yourself, because sometimes being selfish isn't a bad thing if you need that time for yourself.
He goes on to sing the lyrics 'in this world with a lot of problems, all we need is a little loving' which seems to be one of the simple things in life, but a lot of people under appreciate the value/meaning of love. Being genuine and living a simple life is much better than being a target of hate or abuse by people that don't even know you.
One of the initial lyrics is 'I love the way you're living coz you're so genuine' which is a positive aspect that he's noticed about the person he is singing about.
